Media Relations.
Maintaining a media bureau requires the work of many strategic thinkers. I’d love to be part of that team. We work together to brainstorm and develop new storylines, develop pitch materials, identify journalist contacts, own outreach and media coordination, prep spokespeople and monitor for resulting coverage - always everyone’s favorite part of the pitch cycle.
Storytelling & Message Development.
Expert storytelling involves three components: 1) what your competitors are saying; 2) what your audience is or isn’t saying; and 3) what you are (or should be) saying. After conducting initial research, I host a sourcing session where I interview your subject matter experts to learn more about your goals and offerings. Aim of these sessions is to find what differentiates you in the market - aka, your magic. From there I develop a message architecture that can guide an overarching communications platform.
Executive Positioning.
The process involved in executive positioning is similar to storytelling. One major difference is that I incorporate a bit more personal explorations around your executive - What inspires them? What is their professional and personal purpose for doing what they do? What about their personality makes them the right person to take on this work? From there I develop an action plan based on the platform - everything from media tours and bylines to LinkedIn recommendations and more.
Campaign Building.
